Pristine® Basic Fabrics Precision Fabric Group uses both sophisticated weaving technologies and unique finishing chemistries to create performance fabrics that meet the stringent requirements of today's home furnishings markets. Pristine® allergen barrier styles are densely woven fabrics that are specially finished to provide the unique barrier properties of a laminate, without the added weight and stiffness. These fabrics filter out dust, dust mites, and allergy-causing particles, yet still retain air porosity. Our protective antimicrobial finish provides a powerful tool as a long term, effective agent to control the growth of microorganisms on the fabric as well as controlling mold and mildew odors, soiling, staining and deterioration. Pristine® Basic was developed to enhance the hand and feel of the fabric. It fells like cotton, yet is 100% polyester. Pristine®fabrics can be washed and tumble-dried using Normal or Permanent-Press cycles. Non-chlorine bleaches are recommended-although there should be no need for bleaches in cleaning Pristine fabrics. Pristine fabrics can be laundered as often as required and do not require dry cleaning. If ironing is desired, use a medium heat setting (150°C, 300°F).
